url-directory-index-file

url-directory-index-file is a variable defined in `url-vars.el'.
Its value is

"index.html"

Documentation:
The filename to look for when indexing a directory.
If this file exists, and is readable, then it will be viewed instead of
using `dired' to view the directory.

You can customize this variable.
