tex-start-commands

tex-start-commands is a variable defined in `tex-mode.el'.
Its value is
"\\nonstopmode\\input"

  • This variable may be risky if used as a file-local variable.

Documentation:
TeX commands to use when starting TeX.
They are shell-quoted and precede the input file name, with a separating space.
If nil, no commands are used. See the documentation of `tex-command'.

You can customize this variable.

This variable was introduced, or its default value was changed, in version 22.1 of Emacs.
