tex-print-file-extension

tex-print-file-extension is a variable defined in `tex-mode.el'.
Its value is

".dvi"

Documentation:
The TeX-compiled file extension for viewing and printing.
If you use pdflatex instead of latex, set this to ".pdf" and modify
`tex-dvi-view-command' and `tex-dvi-print-command' appropriately.

You can customize this variable.

This variable was introduced, or its default value was changed, in version 25.1 of Emacs.
