python-preoutput-result is a variable defined in `python.el'.
Its value is

nil

• This variable is an alias for `python-shell-internal-last-output'.
• This variable is obsolete since 24.3;
  use `python-shell-internal-last-output' instead.

Documentation:
Last output captured by the internal shell.
This is really not necessary at all for the code to work but it's
there for compatibility with CEDET.
