mh-search-program

mh-search-program is a variable defined in `mh-e.el'.
Its value is

nil

Search program that MH-E shall use.

The default setting of this option is "Auto-detect" which means
that MH-E will automatically choose one of swish++, swish-e,
mairix, namazu, pick and grep in that order. If, for example, you
have both swish++ and mairix installed and you want to use
mairix, then you can set this option to "mairix".

You can customize this variable.

This variable was introduced, or its default value was changed, in version 8.0 of the MH-E package that is part of Emacs 22.1.
