cperl-electric-linefeed is a variable defined in `cperl-mode.el'.
Its value is

nil

Documentation:
*If true, LFD should be hairy in CPerl, otherwise C-c LFD is hairy.
In any case these two mean plain and hairy linefeeds together.
Can be overwritten by `cperl-hairy' if nil.

You can customize this variable.
