telnet-mode

telnet-mode is an interactive compiled Lisp function in `telnet.el'.

(telnet-mode)

Parent mode: `comint-mode'.

This mode is for using telnet (or rsh) from a buffer to another host.
It has most of the same commands as comint-mode.
There is a variable ``telnet-interrupt-string'' which is the character
sent to try to stop execution of a job on the remote host.
Data is sent to the remote host when RET is typed.

In addition to any hooks its parent mode `comint-mode' might have run,
this mode runs the hook `telnet-mode-hook', as the final step
during initialization.
