savehist-load

savehist-load is a compiled Lisp function in `savehist.el'.

(savehist-load)

This function is obsolete since 22.1;
use `savehist-mode' instead.

Load the variables stored in `savehist-file' and turn on Savehist mode.
If `savehist-file' is in the old format that doesn't record
the value of `savehist-minibuffer-history-variables', that
value is deducted from the contents of the file.
