describe-syntax

describe-syntax is an interactive autoloaded compiled Lisp function in `help-fns.el'.

It is bound to C-h s, <f1> s, <help> s.

(describe-syntax &optional BUFFER)

Describe the syntax specifications in the syntax table of BUFFER.
The descriptions are inserted in a help buffer, which is then displayed.
BUFFER defaults to the current buffer.
